この日、提出期限だった英作文をしました。なんの提出期限かって？まあ、それは気にしないでください。日本語の‘はい、いいえ’と英語の‘Yes,No’の違いについてです。あるテキストを読んで書いたものなんですが、それを載せるのが大変なので、何が言いたいかをなんとか汲み取ってください(笑)

　This mistake is caused by the diffrence about how to use ‘yes and no’ between English and Japanese. The function of the word ‘not’ is important in this text.　
In English, it doesn’t matter whether ‘not’ is used in interrogative sentences or not. You don’t have to consider the work of ‘not’. How to use ‘yes and no’ is always the same.
On the other hand, in Japanese, it is important whether ‘not’ is used or not. When you are asked in negative interrogative sentences of Japanese, ‘yes and no’ are reversed.
This diffrence caused Yuko’s mistake. She spoke English in the Japanese usage of ‘yes and no’.
