I read a textbook in English to improve my English,

and then I found out a interesting sentence to me like this:

He took off his jacket and vest and hat and shoes.

Isn’t it interesting?

I think that this sentence is generally written like this:

…his jacket, vest, hat and shoes.

I’m sure that the writer had an intention to produce this sentence…

Did the writer wanted to make an impression that the character took off one by one?

It depends on readers…but
